DANIEL NEIL ASH

DANIEL NEIL ASH

PERFORMER

Dan is an up-and-coming actor from Hull, currently based in Copenhagen.

He trained at the Oxford School of Drama before joining the team of Peer Productions, a youth arts charity, in 2015. The same year, he co-starred as Snow, alongside Christopher Hatherall and Elliot Baxter, in the UK drama The Broken Teeth of Lions (2015). Since 2016 Dan has been pursuing further training at the Copenhagen International School of Performing Arts in Denmark. In 2017, he took part in TransArtLation's Otherness Project, representing the UK in an international collaboration on Anthony (2017). Other acting credits include: Phil, in Queers (2018); and Lucifer, in Immaculate (2017). Dan recently won the award for 'Best Performance' at the Copenhagen Theatre Circle Fringe Festival for his portrayal of Jack in Fragile (2019), written by David Greig and directed by Carol Hayes. He is currently working on the independent short-film Later We Go Home (post-production), by Valeria Letizia Scalera and Anders Holmes.

Innately curious about different cultures and passionate about international exchange, Dan is an avid learner of various languages spoken in the countries he visits and by the people he meets. These include Dutch and most recently - of course - Danish!
