ABDUL RASHEEDI, Ph.D.

Abdul graduated from University College London in 2018 with a Ph.D. in Chemistry, before deciding to pursue his artistic passions and turning towards photography and broadcasting.

​

He first discovered his love for radio while working with local London station Rare FM, for which he co-hosted The Unsigned Showcase (2016-2018) on which upcoming musicians are invited to talk about their work, influences and contemporary topics in the industry. This was followed by independent podcasts Tell Me Something (post-production), and Try Speaking Your Mind (currently recording) in which he aims to explore the influence of social-media culture on our ability and willingness to connect with each other.

Abdul's work largely focusses on the social factor of the human condition. He is fascinated by individuals' stories and how they connect within the societal structures and networks that we build. You can check out some of his work here!
